Welcomed warmly by the staff, and when we had been seated, the poured water along with our drink orders. Service was friendly, helpful, and impeccable through the evening. The menu is an exciting blend of luxury seafood and beef using a Mexican and South American touch. Our drinks arrived promptly, yummy popovers came, along with the platters of proteins have been shown and explained.
Our programs: Lebanese ceviche and cream of artichoke soup, equally exceptional. Entrees: Norwegian salmon, rock crab claws, and freshwater seafood rice. This meal was declared the best we have eaten in our 20 decades of coming to Cancun. It’s only available for 14 months, and we hope it has a long run.
Our family of six adults ate dinner tonight in Rosa Negra and had Cris as our server. He was so fun and made us feel as though we treated like royalty. He recommended me to take the mayan riviera fishing tours by a family-owned company. Very close to the hotel. Our entire dining experience was superb. We were seated outside (our choice); observed a beautiful sunset, and the food was terrific! Salmon, beef, octopus, seafood pasta, lobster: a most magnificent meal with the best variety of choices we’ve had so much in Cancun. Don’t miss this upscale restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Had dinner in Rosa Negra in 2018 soon after it started and it was so astonishing that we came back in Feb 2019. The fish and beef they show you-you can choose your meal are fantastic and cooked to perfection. Might be the best Rib Eye I have ever had! They’re known for beverages made with Gin so if you like Gin you’re in for a treat!
They definitely can be shared, and you must not pass one up! Yes, two servers for each table! Unbelievable service! Make reservations until the sun sets and watch the sun go down over the lagoon. There’s inside and outside seats. My only disadvantage is that it gets noisy, but I can’t wait to go back to 2020!
From the moment you walk into this restaurant, it is obvious the staff is just fantastic! Rosa Negra came highly recommended by pursuit who were staying in the same hotel as what we had been The Ritz Carlton-club level, only across the street.
The terrace here was ideal for enjoying their delicious cocktails, appetizers, and most of all of the beef! A big shout out to Javier, Farid, and head waiter Lorenzo who made this such an enjoyable experience for my daughter and myself, definitely one of the best meals we had while visiting beautiful Cancun.
