Amarte resort is a gorgeous location where you can relax comfortably; rooms are tidy and quiet, pools are ideal in addition to gardens; is a pet-friendly resort, there are Tomas and Tomasa, two beautiful dogs and a few adorable cats in the backyard.
Breakfast is delicious, particularly coffee and java. Hostess Montse is friendly, and she can provide you information about areas, restaurants, amusement, etc.
We only visited this resort for a weekend escape, we were greeted with Adinel (I believe that was her name) front desk staff of this day and she was friendly and gave us all of the info about cozumel shore snorkeling and beach club tours. She was always smiling and welcoming.
The rooms clean and beautiful. The shower had great water pressure, and the net was high. At check out, the other woman from the front desk helped us she was friendly and helpful also. We’ll be going back!
There’s a choice to have a shuttle to the shore in which you have access to meals and beverages served by the waiters in Pavo Real. It is possible to go into the water, and the beach has very soft sand. Well worth spending the afternoon down the road.
Continental breakfast included in the cafe throughout the street where there’s also a little shop for essentials and neighborhood food if wanted. You could even grab the neighborhood van (bus) into Playa del Carmen directly across the road for a second trip to the city.
